Willis Funeral Service first opened on Central Avenue in Batesville in 1995. In 1998, S & S Crematory was built, it was the only crematory within 100 miles of Batesville at that time and was co-owned by Sandi Willis and Dr. Sarah Hays.
In January 1999, Dr. Hays purchased half interest in the funeral home creating Willis-Hays Funeral Service. The new funeral home on Harrison Street was opened at that time. On October 6, 2008, Sandi Willis Martin became the sole owner of Willis Funeral Service and S&S Crematory.
Marc Robison purchased Willis Funeral Service and S&S Crematory from Sandi in 2017 and is now the sole owner.
Many families of Independence County and the surrounding North Central Arkansas area have entrusted their loved ones to Willis Funeral Service and S & S Crematory.
