Virginia McManners Obituary

Virginia Lorene McManners (A.K.A. “Jinx”, or “Granny Jingles”) was born August 2nd, 1931 and passed away peacefully on Saturday April 20, 2019 surrounded by family at WRMC. She was the last surviving sibling of the 8 children born to Sam and Elsie (Ramsey) Felton and is preceded in death by her siblings, her parents , and her husband of 53 years Bobby Gene McManners. She was of Christian faith and a member at Liberty Baptist Church in Batesville. She and Bobby were members of the DAV and managed a trout fishing resort. She loved fishing, cooking, camping, family vacations, and playing cards and bingo. She is survived by her son Gene (Bonnie) McManners, her daughters, Linda (Dexter) White, and Lorene (Forest) Chance, 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday April 23 from 12-2PM followed by a 2PM funeral service at Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, AR with burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery, Batesville AR.
