Timothy Gabel Obituary

 

Timothy John Gabel, 65, of Batesville, AR died Thursday, October 22, 2020. Timothy was born December 16, 1954, in Tripoli, North Africa to George and Florine (Cormier) Gabel. Timothy was born into a military family. Both his parents served across the globe. 
Timothy and his family arrived in Concord, AR by way of San Antonio, TX after his father had retired from the service. In Timothy’s youth, he enjoyed playing basketball. He still to this day holds a Concord High School record for most points scored in a single game with 100 points. After high school, He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. Timothy spent his later years in the care of his mother Florine.

Timothy is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Walker; his father, George Gabel; and his brother, Patrick Gabel. He is survived by his mother, Florine Gabel; his daughter, Tiffany Glover (Jackie); his brother, Michael Gabel; his sister, Donna Collins; and grandchildren, Cayden Glover, Easton Glover, Savannah Glover, and Payton Glover.

Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a funeral Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Thursday, November 5, 2020, at 11 a.m. A Rosary will be held prior to the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Memphis National Cemetery on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1 p.m.
