Sally Ann Pickens

Sally Ann Pickens of Batesville passed away due to COVID-19 related illness on December 20, 2020. She was born October 1, 1956 in Batesville, AR  to Edna Bratton Pickens and Charles J. Pickens. She was a 1975 graduate of Kilgore High School in Kilgore, TX and attended Kilgore Junior College. During her working years, she primarily worked with organizations that helped troubled young people. She was a member of Southside United Methodist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Charley Pickens and sister Mickie Pickens.

She is survived by a brother Jack (Cindy) Pickens of Heber Springs, a sister Vickie Shaver Couch (Bill) of Batesville and her dearest friend Gina Robertson of Batesville.

A private burial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Independence County.
