Russell Wayne Green

Russell Wayne Green, 58, passed away on June 9, 2021. He was born in Batesville, AR on December 13, 1962, to Tony and Janet Green.

He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with his dog Maggie. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend whose memory will forever be carried by those that love him.

He is survived by his mother, Janet Green; sisters, Carla Green, Kimberly Broughton, and Jerla Murdock (Jim); nephews, Kyle Mathes (Emily), Kody Mathes (Caitlin), Nick Murdock, and Josh Murdock ; nieces, Chaney James, Keely James, Holly Lazanas, Anna Ledezma, Melissa Murdock, and Amy Murdock; great-nephews, Jett Mathes and Smith Shanrock; and great-nieces, Nadylee Mathes and Heidi Kate Mathes.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tony Green.

A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Monday, June 14, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. A funeral service, officiated by Stephen Downs, will follow the visitation starting at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Sulphur Rock Cemetery.

Pallbearers are: Kyle Mathes, Kody Mathes, Clancy Williams, Dustin Hubbard, Will Clark, and Quinn Hurdle.
