Roland was a respected member of his community. He was always willing to help anyone. His guidance and assistance contributed to the development of nearly every child in the area. “Uncle Roland” was the one person that could be sought out for assistance or advice on nearly any matter.
Roland worked over forty years as a butcher and was proud of his work ethic and skills, but always found time to lend a helping hand to others. He loved working with his horses, wood, leatherwork, and farming. Roland was loved by many and touched the lives of more people than he ever realized. He will be greatly missed.
