Karen Jean Hudson

Karen Jean Hudson, 61, passed away on February 11, 2021 in Batesville, Arkansas at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 13, 1959 in Waterville, Washington. Karen was a loyal Cowboys fan. She was the definition of strength and kindness. Her grandkids were her life and her boys were her proudest accomplishment. She was a mother of three, but a momma to many. “Her heart was the place troubled souls found shelter.”

Karen is survived by sons, Chris Hudson (Leah), Josh Hudson (Merissa), and Matthew Hudson (Heather); grandchildren, Hayden and Jaxson Hudson, Iicis, Lybertii, and Uriijah Hudson, Shyylin and Asyiia Calvin, and Karli Hudson; and sisters, Betty Jo Croslin, Linda Vickers, Joyce Long, Vickie Smith, Wanda Aldrich, and Edith Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harding and Rentha Baker Anderson; brothers, Lee Roy Anderson and Von Anderson; sisters, Peggy Shaver, Brenda Kay, Brenda Sue, and Sharon Kay; and grandparents, Troy and Rutilla Baker and Tommy and Birdie Anderson.

Services will be pending inclement weather and may be adjusted as necessary.

Pallbearers include, Chris Zelasko, Joe Jackson, Patrick Milon, Dustin Smith, Lynn Croslin, and Tyrone Paige. Honorary Pallbearers are Mrs. Karen’s sons, Chris Hudson, Josh Hudson, and Matt Hudson. Services will be pending inclement weather and may be adjusted as necessary.
