Joyce Sue Ramsey

Joyce Sue Ramsey, 82, of Floral, AR, died on Friday, April 15, 2022.  She was born November 2, 1939, in Noblesville, Indiana, to the late Frank J Statzer and Gladys Viola (Sutton) Statzer. Joyce was a born again Christian and served the Lord Jesus Christ as a member at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Another way Joyce served the Lord was by fulfilling her God given role as a loving, hardworking, and faithful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was happiest when she was at home on the farm surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family and all who knew her.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Mr. Norman Ramsey; her sons, Rickey Leon Ramsey, Lanny Ramsey (Christy), Tim Ramsey, and Deon Ramsey (Carola); her brother Sidney Statzer; her sisters, Hilda, Jewel, Dixie, Kitty Moore, and Hope Andrews; 19 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Joyce is preceded in death by both parents; her sister Nelda; her brother Lavern Statzer; her son Tony Ramsey; and her granddaughter, Hannah Ramsey.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a graveside service on Monday, April 18, 2022, at 2 PM at Union Grove Cemetery, officiated by Bro. Ronnie Fortson. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matthew Ramsey, Jared Ramsey, Bruce Ramsey, Jeremy Ramsey, Devin Ramsey, and Cody Ramsey. The family would like to recognize the following persons as honorary pallbearers:  Ryan Ramsey, Dustin Ramsey, Jesse Ramsey, Brandon Ramsey, and Caden Ramsey.
