Helen June Christian

Helen June Christian, 81, of Batesville died Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Helen was born in Nashville, TN on June 4, 1939 to the late Dell Broadway Daughtry and Audrey Lee (Tobitt) Daughtry. Helen was of Christian faith, attending Church of Christ throughout her life. She absolutely loved and cherished her family, always being there for them as best she could. Helen loved being involved in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren’s lives. She volunteered at their school as much as she could. Helen loved to read so she spent most of her volunteer time at the school’s book fair. Helen leaves a legacy of love, selfless service, and hard work.

Helen is preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Gerald Christian; her sister, Katherine Boyett; her two brothers:  David Daughtry and Sammie Daughtry; her daughter, Joyce Lee Christian; and her infant son, Gerald Wayne Christian II. She is survived by her 4 daughters: Cherry Rohrscheib of Kalamazoo, MI; JoAnn Christian of Kalamazoo, MI; Carol Weaver of Batesville, AR; and Tracie Brooks (Mike) of PawPaw, MI; her brother, Erby Daughtry of Parchment, MI; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and acquaintances.
