Gary Quinten Dodds

Gary Quinten Dodds, 83, passed away on June 7, 2023, in Batesville, Arkansas. He was born in Kossuth County, Iowa, on October 9, 1939, to Quinten Dodds and Wilma (Riddle) Dodds. Gary was an outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and watching wildlife with his granddaughters, Hanna and Jaycie. He also enjoyed antiquing in his spare time. Gary valued hard work and everything he did confirmed that. Above all else, Gary was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those who loved him.

Gary is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Mary J. Dodds of Batesville, AR; son, Justin Dodds of Westminster, Colorado; daughters, Shonnie Manuel of Newark, Arkansas, Brenda Roth of Ruthven, Iowa, and Annette Woolery of Ruthven, Iowa; grandchildren, Hanna Manuel, Jaycie Manuel, Dara Roberts, Anthony Roth, Brooke Roth, and Johnette Dodds; several great-grandchildren; brother, Merle Dodds of Arnolds Park, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his younger brother, Dean Dodds.
