Faye Janice White, 87, passed away on November 24, 2021. She was born in Steele, Missouri, on February 10, 1934, to O.B. Marlin Via and Eve Hopkins Via.
Janice loved her family and friends. Her favorite pastime was talking and visiting with people. She loved the Lord, the church, and the bible; and spent many hours having conversations with anyone who would listen on these subjects. Janice was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend whose memory will be cherished by those that loved her.
She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Via of Blountstown, Florida; cousin, Myrna Duke of Beebe, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Peggy Spalla of Illinois and Shirley Cooper of Tennessee; as well as her church family from the Quail Valley Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, Milburn Edgar White, and her mother and father.
Janice's friends and family would also like to recognize Wood-Lawn Nursing Home for the many years of care.
A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by David Moore, will follow the visitation starting at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.
