Earlene Tate, 71, of Batesville passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at home with her loving family. Earlene was born November 13, 1947 in Batesville to Lester and Georgia (Caldwell) Harris. She was of the Christian faith and loved fishing, antiquing, crafting, and being a loving, caring homemaker for her family. She and her husband Earl Dean Tate have celebrated 56 years of marriage. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her son Earl Wayne Tate. She is survived by her husband Earl, her son Roger Tate (Sheri), her daughter Rachell Qualls (John), 3 sisters: Georgia Ann Vest, Mary Platt (Bennie), and Marian Edamura of Goodyear, AZ, 7 grandchildren: Zachary Tate, Landen Gilmore, Jarrett Gilmore, Joe Don Qualls, Brandon Qualls, Caleb Qualls, and Kayla Barr, one great grandchild, Bryson Wayne Tate, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2019 from 1-2PM followed by a 2PM service at Willis Funeral Service with burial at Lees Chapel Cemetery on Sandtown Road.
