Daron Dewayne Roberson was called to his Heavenly home on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the age of 29. He was born on March 16, 1994, in Newport, AR. Daron was of Christian faith and worshiped the Lord at New Testament Holiness Church in Cave City. He graduated from Cave City High School, Class of 2013, and was beloved by all his friends, teammates, coworkers, and family. Anybody who knew Daron loved him. He enjoyed playing sports, especially soccer and football. He left such an impact on his teammates, that when he switched schools, moving from Batesville to Cave City, his teammates from Batesville would come to his Cave City games to support him. Daron enjoyed watching sports as well, particularly cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a country boy at heart, he liked listening to country music and riding 4-wheelers. Daron also liked to dance and have a good time, he had many, many friends, but considered them all as family. He could light up any room and could raise a dampened spirit with just a glance and a smile. But out of all of Daron's hobbies and passions, the thing that meant the most to him was his family. He loved all his family, but there existed a special bond between Daron and his twin brother, Jaron. Daron and Jaron were “ride or die” brothers. They did everything together growing up, including working together at Bad Boy Mowers and playing ball together. Daron was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin. Daron will be dearly missed by everyone who was blessed to know and love him.
Daron is preceded in death by his father, Wayne Stigger, and his grandfather, Earthie Walker Sr. He is survived by his parents, his dad, Donnie Roberson, and his mother, Donna Roberson; his grandmother, Mary Walker; his brothers, Joseph Walker and Jaron Roberson (Ashley); his sister, Ronesha Stigger; his aunts, Gwendolyn Walker and Yolanda Smith (Dejuan); his uncles, Marvin Walker and Earthie Walker Jr. (Tonia); his nieces, Birdie Iris Roberson and Octavia Atlantis Roberson; his nephews, Liam Avery Roberson and Brody Xavier Trivitt; and several extended family members and friends.
Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation Friday evening at Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Believers Community Church in Batesville will host Daron’s funeral service on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Erick Oyemaja, Philip Archuletta, Justin Keller, Robert Smith, Quincy Stafford, and Nathan Wilson. The family would like to recognize the following people as honorary pallbearers, Cody Matthews, Brandon Ward, Javier Rodriguez, Joe Rodriguez, Hayden Anderson, and Chris Pulley.
