Bonnie Lorene Jeffery

Bonnie Lorene Jeffery, 81, went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2022. She was born in O’Neal, AR, on May 15, 1941, to Ray and Letha Story. 

Bonnie loved going to church and reading her bible. She attended Cushman First Assembly of God with her husband Orvel for many years. Bonnie enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and watching Jeopardy. But most of all, she loved being with her family and cooking them delicious southern comfort food. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of those that loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray Story and Letha Duncan Story; sister, Kathy Neal; and brother, Carl Story. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Orvel Jeffery of Cushman, AR; daughters, Connie Sides (David) of Maumelle, AR and Phyllis Prescott (Andrew) of Cherokee Village, AR; brother, Vernon Story (Jenny) of Cushman, AR; sisters, Patricia Kelley of Cushman, AR and Emily Clark (Terry) of Cushman, AR; grandchildren, Angel Rex (Thomas), Stephanie Sides, Ronald Brown III, and Leah Brown; great-grandchildren, Carmen Kelley and Dominic Rex; and great-great-grandchild, Krimson Rettstatt.

A visitation will be held at Willis Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Carl Blankenship, will be held at Cushman First Assembly of God on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the funeral service at Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
