Bobby Bolin of Southside passed away Friday, November 20, 2020, at the age of 86. He was born October 16, 1934 in Newark to the late Melvin and Irene Bolin. Bobby was of Christian faith and attended Church of Christ Services. Bobby served his country honorably in the United States Army. He worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department for 30 years. He loved to attend auctions. Buying and selling goods and visiting with friends and neighbors at the auctions was something he truly enjoyed. Bobby’s passion though was his love for his family, especially his grandchildren and his precious great granddaughter.
Bobby is reunited in heaven with both of his parents; his son, Gregory Scott Bolin; his daughter, Melinda Collins; his brother, Jan Bolin; and his sister, Van Pack. He is survived by his wife of an amazing 60 years, Mary Bolin; his sons, Randy Bolin (Mariesa) and Todd Bolin (Resa); his son-in-law, Patrick Colins; his brother, Buddy Bolin (Sarah); his sisters, Nina Womack (Lavon) and Louetta Winchell, his 4 grandchildren: Erica Temple (Kyle), Stephanie Bolin, Hope Green (Josh), and Dalton Collins; his treasured great granddaughter, Bailey Temple, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and acquaintances.
Arrangments entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a private graveside service at Alderbrook Cemetery on Monday, Novemeber 23, 2020 at 10 AM. All CDC guidelines for Covid-19 will be in place and a mask must be worn at all times.
