Anna Lee Scarbrough

Anna Lee Scarbrough, 98, daughter of Harry and Eliza Howard (Duncan), passed away on September 29, 2020.

Anna lived many places during her life, including Palm Springs, California, and Auburndale, Florida, but the Spring Mill, Arkansas area was her home; she always said, "It's nice to see other places, but there's no place like home."

She was of the Jehovah's Witness faith since the 1970s and enjoyed door-to-door ministry. She loved to sew, work outside and in her garden, paint nature landscapes, and work on puzzles. But most of all, she loved to spend time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Edward Bill Scarbrough; parents, William and Eliza Howard; son, James Nathan Scarbrough; daughter, Marie Hall; brothers, Earnest Howard, Tom Howard, Lacey Howard, and Earl Howard; and grandsons, Tommy Bunch and Christopher David Rodriguez. She is survived by her daughters, Verna Comfort, Inez Berry, Anita Qualls, and Donna Jameson; sons, David Wesley Scarbrough and Mitchell Anthony Scarbrough; twenty grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Due to the current need for social distancing, there will not be a funeral or visitation. A memorial service will be held at future date.
