Anna Mae Felts

Anna Mae Felts,88,of Batesville passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018. She was born on Dec. 6, 1929, to Horace Oakley Felts and Alice Roberts Felts Camp. Anna is preceded by her parents, half-sister, Martha Jane Tucker. She is survived by her half-sister Johnnie Taylor; Robin Gay,her devoted caregiver and cousin; Anna had more special cousins and nephews. She attended U.C.A and Harding University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Education. After school Anna worked for the Arkansas School for the Blind as an educator. She was also employed with Cooperative extension service, that allowed her to travel. Anna Mae enjoyed the conversation with other people and their company but most of all her favorite thing to do was going junking.Yard sales, flea markets, was Anna's play ground. Some might even ask,"why did she buy this?" Anna probably had a good reason in her mind. There will be a graveside service for Ms. Anna Mae on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at 10 a.m. The cemetery will be Walnut Grove in Newport, Ar.
