Wilma Vernell Jackson, 92, of Batesville, AR, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020. She was born on March 30, 1927, in Rosie, AR to Vernon and Margie Simmons. Wilma was an avid game player, animal lover, and hard worker. She was a treasure and a blessing to her family and friends. All that knew and met her, loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lou Allen Jackson; sons, Mike Jackson and Allen Jackson Jr.; sister, Bonnie Grey; grandparents, William and Sarah Robertson, and William and Janie Simmons; nephew, Steven Grey; and great-grandson, William Turnage.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Mahan (Bobby); grandchildren, Melinda Head (Mark), Bobby Joe James, and Trena James; as well as many, many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Willis Funeral Service, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The funeral service, officiated by Shaun McGaha, will follow the visitation starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Egner Cemetery.
