Willie David Hammack, 76, passed away May 15th, 2017. He was born April 24th, 1941 in Tennessee to Dewey Hammack and Altie (Barkley) Hammack. He enjoyed going hunting especially coon hunting, he enjoyed coaching his grandsons' baseball team, and time spent with his family, grandchildren, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Altie Hammack; one sister, Juanita; and one brother, Roy Lee. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joyce Hammack; six children: David Hammack, Lisa Hammack, Annette Edgell, Anthony Hammack, Altie Joy Hammack, and Elvis Ray Hammack; four brothers: Troy Hammack, James Hammack, Paul Hammack, and John Hammack; one sister, Mary Ethel Hammack; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, May 19th from 6-8 PM and the funeral service will be Saturday, May 20th at 2 PM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. John Boswell officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery of Floral. Pallbearers include: Dalton Passmore, Devin Passmore, Darrell Hammack, Dillon Kelough, Cody Hammack, and Chris Lusher. Honorary Pallbearers include: David Hammack, Anthony Hammack, Elvis Hammack, and Steven Hobbs.
