Willie Irene Berry, 85, passed away on January 16, 2022. She was born in Newport, AR, on August 30, 1936, to Ira Marion McDougal and Odlene (Chaney) McDougal.

Willie was of the Baptist faith and attended Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She loved taking care of her many animals, especially her birds. But most of all she loved spending time with her family, whether it was drinking coffee and talking or playing card games. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, daughter, aunt, and friend who will be missed greatly by those that loved her.

She is survived by her sons, Marion Berry and Raymond Dean Berry; her brother, Raymond McDougal; grandchildren, Sherry, Bubba, Franchesca, Destiny, Robert, Roger, Deseree, Deseree, Sonny, Elaina, and Adam; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth Eugene Berry; parents; daughter, Mary Irene Middleton; son, Harold Gene Berry; brother, Odess McDougal; sisters, Corene Jones and Doris Duncan; and grandsons, Kevin Berry and Kennith Berry.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Willis Funeral Service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery.
