William Roy Sparkman, 63, of Concord passed away Sunday February 21, 2016 at his home. He was a retired employee of General Motors. He was preceded in death by his parents James Sparkman and Thelma (McGill) Sparkman; his wife Debra Jean Sparkman; and two brothers James Sparkman and Bob Sparkman. He is survived by five children: William Sparkman, Arthur Sparkman, Larry Davis, Trina Hatcher, and Christina Winberry; two brothers: Donnie Sparkman and Wayne Sparkman; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday February 25 at 1pm followed by the funeral service at 2pm both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will follow at the Cross Roads Cemetery in Greers Ferry.
