William Joel Massey, 89, of Batesville, AR passed away on February 27, 2022. He was born on January 18, 1933, in Batesville, AR to William Theophilis "Jack" Massey and Marie Massey. William was in the United States Military and was stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. He traveled all over the world and enjoyed telling the stories of what he seen to everyone he met. He attended Central Texas College and received an Associates Degree. He loved going to the races when he was still able. William told his wife everyday how much he loved her. Above all else, William was a loving husband, father, and friend to all those who cherished him.

William is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Lula Massey of Batesville, AR and son, David Massey of Houston, Texas.
