William Howard Hood, 36, of Batesville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018. He was born Feb. 24, 1982, at Newport, Arkansas, to Charlie and Cynthia (Hood) Bass. He was a construction worker who loved fishing, video games, football, and gardening. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Cleo Baty, Kenneth May; two uncles, Phillip Baty and Jim Sanders, cousin, Marc Sanders. Survivors include, two children; grandparents, Sam and Joann Hood, Virginia Hood, Lottie Hall, Jerry and Betty Bass; Fiance, Tammy Parker; Brother, Steven Bass; sister, Tamara Matheny (Scott); several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Thursday September 6, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Willis Funeral Service Chapel.Graveside services will be Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. Campground cemetery in Bethesda, Ar. with Bro.
