Virginia Gerolene May, 93, passed away December 6, 2015 at the Woodlawn Nursing Home. She was born November 3, 1922 to James Dudley Gay and Clemmie Alice (Wilf) Gay. She worked with her husband Nolan on the farm and raised chickens for J.K. Southerland. She loved to bake pies and everyone loved her pies. She loved working in her yard, and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks play basketball. She was a devoted member at the Hutchinson Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; Dud and Clemmie Gay; her husband Nolan May; three brothers, Don Gay, Vick Gay, Terry Gay; one sister Betty Mona Gay Sharp; two sons, Tom May, and Dud May; and one grandson Jerry Don May. She is survived by one son, Billy May and his wife Sharon; one daughter, Carol Slisher and her husband John; two daughter-in-laws Mary May Bowen and Glenda May, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
