Violet Dawn Tidwell, 84, passed away on July 26, 2021. She was born October 16, 1936, to the late Grover and Dorothy Westbrook. Violet was very social and loved to chat on the phone with her family and friends oftentimes for hours on end.  She loved needlework (sewing, quilting, crocheting) and spending time in her garden. Above all she loved her family.

Violet is survived by her daughter, Sharon Young; her son, Jerry Tidwell; her five grandchildren; as well as many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Dorothy Westbrook; her loving husband, James Edward Tidwell; and her brother, David Westbrook.
