Tony Edward Simon, Sr, 55, of Newark passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 in Batesville. He was born June 6, 1958 in Batesville to James Edward Simon and Pauline Ring Simon. He was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy Simon; one grandson, Tony Simon, III and one granddaughter, Danielle Simon. Survivors include one son, Tony Simon, Jr of Batesville; three daughters, Deanna Swaim of Batesville, Courtney Watson of Batesville and Katrina Narovich of Cadillac, MI; two brothers, Bill Clem of Magness and Dan Williams of Cushman; one sister, Sharon Gott of Cushman and thirteen grandchildren. Memorial services will be 12:00 - 4:00 P.M., Saturday, September 7, 2013 at the Compass Church with Brandon Smart officiating. There will be a private burial at a later date.
