Tommy Dewitt Evans, 74, of Concord passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 in Batesville. He was born October 1, 1941 in Banner to Albert Franklin Evans and Mary Martin Evans. He was a mechanic and self-employed. He loved deer hunting, riding 4-wheelers and fishing. Survivors include a daughter, Ruthie Goodwin and her husband, Cody of Moorefield; two brothers, John Evans and his wife Dorothy Evans of Scotland, and Gene Evans and his wife Gailya Evans of North Little Rock; two sisters, Ellene Cox of Floral and Mary Dene Rhodes and her husband Virgel of Overland Park, KS; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Eldon Evans. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Banner with Bro John Stoner officiating.
