Tommy Dowell, 66, passed away August 12th, 2017. He was born June 21st, 1951 in Batesville, Arkansas. He was a born again Christian. He enjoyed to hunt and fish with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Ray Dowell; two brothers, Hugh Dowell and Tad Dowell; and three nieces, Mariann Dowell, Karen Dowell, and Deanna Dowell. He is survived by his mother, Betsy "Beatrice" (Tomlin) Dowell; his wife, Paula Dowell; one son, Tommy Lee Dowell; two daughters, Amy Jo O'Brien and Angel Lea Bufford; two brothers, Harry Dowell and Bub Dowell; one sister, Glenna Reschke; four grandchildren, Ashton Sanders, Kyler O'Brien, Blayne Bufford, and Karter O'Brien; four great grandchildren, Brently Sanders, Rhylee Sanders, and twins, Sophie and Zoie Sanders. Visitation will be Thursday, August 17th from 5-7 PM at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel and graveside services will be Friday, August 18th at 10 AM at the Campground Cemetery of Bethesda with Bro. Jack McCarroll officiating. Pallbearers include, Kyler O'Brien, Shawn O'Brien, Galvin Bufford, Jeremiah Sanders, Blayne Bufford, and Tiny Dowell.
