Tommy Joe Bishop Sr., 64, passed away February 27th, 2017. He was born August 7, 1952 in Batesville, Arkansas to George Washington Bishop Jr. and Helen (Ackerman) Bishop. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, drag racing, riding his 4-wheeler, and working his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents George Washington Bishop Jr. and Helen Bishop; an infant brother Jerry Lynn Bishop; an infant sister Georgia Raye Bishop; and his step-son Scott. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Ruby Bishop; two sons Tommy Bishop Jr. and Jeffery Bishop; one daughter Brandy Emanuel; two step-daughters Judith West and Lisa Smith; three sisters Carol Adams, Bobbie Ivy, and Gloria Keller; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9-10 AM on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 with the memorial service beginning at 10 AM both at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Fred Beard officiating.
