Obituary

Thomas Earl Starkey, 64, of Batesville passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Batesville. He was born July 28, 1949 in Helena to Ollie Starkey and Dolly King Starkey. He was a farmer, was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed watching old westerns, dancing and dominoes. Survivors include his wife of eleven and one half years, Joyce Starkey of the home; two daughters, Lori Neeley of Batesville and Tammy Owens of Rogue River, OR; five brothers, LB Starkey of Pleasant Plains, James Starkey of Rogers, Wilford Starkey of Wynn, Kenny Starkey of Wynn, David Starkey of Portland, OR; four sisters, Joyce James of Louisiana, Addie Hertz of Pleasant Plains, Brenda Gray of Wynn, Bonnie Sue Wilson of Colt; eight grandchildren, Danielle Harlow, Anthony Hendrickson, Troy Henderickson, Josh Owens, Justin Owens, Josie Owens, Tammy Neeley, Shasta Neeley and two great grandchildren, Alaia Tate and Jada Tate. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Starkey and one sister, Pauline Starkey Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, July 27, 2014 at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Southside with eulogy by his granddaughter, Tammy Neeley There will be a private burial at a later date.
