Sylvia Josephine Dishongh, 87, of Batesville passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 in Batesville. She was born May 3, 1927 in Batesville to Roy West and Wildie Spencer West. She retired from ConAgra and was of the Church of God faith. Sylvia enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning and traveling. Survivors include her two sons, Darrell Barnett of Cave City and Dennis Barnett of Batesville; her two daughters, Debra Barnett of Jonesboro and Sandra Gonce of Leesburg, FL; her two sisters, Norma Jean Tate of Batesville and Bonnie Candler of Batesville; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Clyde Barnett; her second husband, Jim Dishongh; one son, Doyle Barnett; two daughters, Genieve Freeman and Margaret Vilmaire; four brothers and three sisters. Memorial Graveside Services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Lee's Chapel Cemetery at Sandtown. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. www.willisfs.com
