Susan Kelly, 69, of Velvet Ridge passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in Jonesboro. She was born October 18, 1944 in Chicago, IL to Robert Resnais and Maxine McNeff Resnais. She was a homemaker and attended New Life Assembly of Jesus Christ Church in Magness. Susan enjoyed bingo, in her teenage years served as a life guard once being recognized by a local newspaper for saving a life and she loved being a hairstylist. Survivors include her husband, John W. "Jack" Kelly of the home; two sons, George Kelly of Bald Knob and John Kelly of Bay; one brother, Don Resnais of Orlando, FL and four grandchildren, Jake Kelly, Trey Kelly, Blake Kelly, and David Kelly. She is preceded in death by her parents. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Gaylon England officiating. Interment will be in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Pallbearers are David Riecks, Tom Kelley, Sr., Tom Kelley, Jr., Thomas Kelley, Terrence Cookson, and Edward Kelley.
