Steve Richard Williams "Praise the Lord" 68, of Cave City passed away June 18th at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Ida lee Williams, one sister, Nadine Gibbs and two brothers, Danny and Allen Williams. He is survived by two brothers, James and Hank Williams, one sister Regina Bishop all of Batesville. Best friends Rosia and Ed Carter of Cave City. Three children, a son, Kenny Edwardson, and two daughters, Jamie Jennings and Melisa King, all of Cave City, Five grandchildren, Haley Nicole, Dezirea Carter, Jazmine Edwardson, Miley Carter, Katelyn Jennings, and a host of family and friends. Steve was a Vietnam Veteran, he served honorably. He was a member of the Cave City church of God. He was best known for his motto, "Praise the Lord". Anyone he ever talked to got it repeatedly. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, church, CB and ham radio operating. He loved eating and visiting with family and friends. He was a friend to all that came in contact with him. A special memorial service for family and friends will be held Friday June 24th, at 7:00 PM at the Cave City Church of God with pastor Allen Brown Officiating. A private family burial will be held at Weavers Chapel Cemetery at a later date.
