Stephen Ray Boren, 60, of Batesville passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 in Batesville. He was born June 22, 1954 in Chicago, IL to Elmer Ray Boren and Betty Ann Paul Boren. He was a grocery store manager, loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Stephen also loved to visit and watch NASCAR. Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Karen Boren of Batesville; one son, Shawn Ashley Boren of Batesville; two brothers, Kenny Wayne Boren of CA and Elmer "Buddy" Boren of CA; one sister, Christie Newcomb of CA; and two grandchildren, Brooklyn Ashley Boren and Caleb Shawn Boren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Daniel Ray Boren. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Service of Batesville. www.willisfs.com
