Shirley Ann Edwards, 53, of Batesville passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013 in Batesville. She was born October 21, 1959 in Texarkana to John Frank Ray and Erma Bearden Ray. She worked as a CNA, was an avid gamer, loved the lake, fishing, camo, and Mt. Dew. She is preceded in death by her father; one sister, Darlene Breshears and two brothers, Wesley Ray and Bill Ray. Survivors include her mother of Malvern; husband; D.J. Edwards of the home; one son, Josh Scott of Batesville; one daughter, Rachel Moser of Batesville; seven sisters, Irene McDonald of California, Eulene Mitchell of Benton, Cathy Gaithwright of Malvern, Dorothy Cobb of Hot Springs, Wilma Applegate of Batesville, Brenda Wilburn of Malvern, Leda Hicks of Vivian, LA; one grandchild, Tobyn Miller and a niece, Marissa Ray. Services will be 3:00 P.M., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Barnett Byer officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Josh Scott, Thomas Cornett, Nick Reyes, Jerry Ray, Dallas Hess, and Glen Hawkins. Honorary Pallbearers are Jesse White and Jeremy White.
