Sharon Diane Welch, 80, passed away on January 24, 2023. She was born in Larned, Kansas, on October 8, 1942, to Kenneth and Mildred Pearson. Sharon was a proud supporter of the VFW and the American Legion Auxiliary. She also loved to quilt, sew, read, garden, watch classic movies, and attend antique auctions. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose memory will forever be cherished by those that loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Pearson and Mildred V. (Belcher) Pearson; husband, Ronald L. Welch; and daughter-in-law, Blythe Perez. She is survived by her sons, Felix Perez of Colorado Springs, CO and Joseph Perez of Hutchinson, Kansas; daughter, Tina Eveland of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Raymond Whitmer of Kansas; grandchildren, Lance Perez (Samantha), Luke Perez (Sayuri), Connie Carey (Anthony), Thomas Eveland JR (Bobbi), Aaron Eveland, and Joei Perez; great-grandchildren, Carter, Macoy, Bella, Cole, Luria, EmmaLynn, Mackenzie, James, Rhoni, Riley, Roman, and Kane (Blakely); and great-great-grandchildren, Zoey, Kane JR, Kohen, and one on the way.
