Sharlet Patricia Schane went to be with lord on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. She was 64 years old. Born December 6, 195O, she was the daughter of Thomas and Melba Sapp. She was a quilter and of the Christian Faith. Survivors include her two sons, Michael Thomas and his wife Jennifer May and Timothy William May. There are also numerous cousins. Sharlet has two sisters, Deirdre Pope and Erin Snodgrass; one brother, Mike Aldridge. Deirdre and Mike live in Alaska where Sharlet grew up. Erin lives in Iowa. Sharlet has six granddaughters and loves them very much. She loves children so much that in her early twenties she became a Montessori teacher, then a director of Montessori School. Sharlet's greatest love is Jesus Christ. She also enjoys painting, embroidery, crocheting and gardening. She was proceeded in death by her parents and grandparents. A private memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at First Assembly of God in Batesville at 3 P.M. with Pastor Jeff Cox officiating. Memorial Graveside Services will be held immediately following at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Bethesda.
