Sarah Marilyn Hobbs, 81, of Benton, formerly of Cushman passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 in Benton. She was born July 3, 1932 in Jewett, Ohio to Lawrence Andrew Oliver and Cleda Alice Brady Oliver. She was a retired Postmaster with the U.S. Postal Service. Marilyn was a member of the Cushman United Methodist Church, Ruth Chapter #91 Order of Eastern Star, Batesville Business & Professional Women, Cushman Volunteer Fire Department, National Association of Postmasters of the United States, and National League of Postmasters. Survivors include her daughter, Doris Jean Hobbs Fitzgerald of Bauxite; one step son, Gary Dorse Hobbs of Batesville; four grandchildren, Luke Fitzgerald, Lydia Fitzgerald, Aaron Hobbs, and Dub Hobbs and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Phyllis Carescia and her brother, David Oliver. Visitation is 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Willis Funeral Service.
