Sandy Lynn Sweet, 64, of Maumelle, Arkansas, passed away on June 12, 2026.
She was born on May 30, 1962, to her loving parents, Harold Sweet and Georgia Polly (Nesbitt) Sweet.
Sandy was a fun-loving and spirited woman who enjoyed life and cherished the simple joys it brought her. As a child, she loved playing softball and spending time outdoors. She had a special love for dogs and found great joy in working with them throughout her life. One of her greatest pleasures was fishing, especially with her father, with whom she shared a very close bond. She was truly a daddy’s girl. Sandy also adored her beloved dog, Charlie, who was a constant companion and brought her much happiness.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Sweet; her maternal grandparents, Franklin and Georgia Nesbitt; her paternal grandparents, Clarence and Nell Sweet; her uncle, Bob Sweet; and her cousin, Chuck Sweet.
She is survived by her mother, Georgia Polly (Nesbitt) Sweet; her aunt, Elaine Sweet; her uncle, Ronnie Sweet and wife Barbara; and a host of cousins, family members, and special friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A graveside service and immediate burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at Oaklawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Dwain Griffis, Chris Sinele, Ryan Sinele, Sam Stalker, Kyler Epperson, Paden McCormick, and David Courtney.
Sandy will be remembered for her kind heart, loving spirit, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
