Ronald L. James, 61 of Batesville passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 in a Batesville hospital. He was born March 14, 1952 in Batesville to J.W. James and Willene Dickey James. He worked for GDX, loved to hunt, play pool, and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Linda Hyatt James of the home; one son, Jonathan James of Branson, MO; one stepson, David Keene of Batesville; one daughter, Cynthia Miller of Texas; one step daughter, Kelly Robertson of Texas; two sisters, Teresa Milligan and Tina James both of Batesville; five grandchildren, Mandy Robertson, Matt Robertson, Lexie James, Ashley Pauley, Timothy Brock and one great grandson, Zane Roberson. Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Justin Burge officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Visitation is Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. until service time.
