Ronald Terry Hollingsworth, age 69, born on February 13, 1954, in Helena, Arkansas was the second-born twin son of his beloved mother, Marie (Douglas), and her first husband, Chester Hollingsworth.

Ron, or Bubba, as he was known, was gregarious with a contagious laugh and renowned sense of humor. The only thing bigger than his laugh was his heart. Ron was known for his generosity and helped others in his selfless way, not asking for recognition or repayment.

Ron was a hardworking man who thrived on overcoming obstacles. His first job, he always said, was providing for "his girls". He did this far beyond material things. He provided a living example of how to be kind by helping others; how to be strong by standing up for what you believe in; and how to find joy in every situation by laughing and making others laugh.

On February 18th, Ron went to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Donald and his mother and father. He is survived by "his girls", Rhonda Woods and Christy Thorne, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one niece, and honorary daughters.

There will be a Visitation on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at Willis Funeral Service Chapel from 5 PM-7 PM. The Funeral Service, officiated by Jeff Noordhoek, will be at Willis Funeral Service Chapel on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 2 PM. Interment will be at Shamrock Cemetery in Charlotte, AR.
