Robert Omar Wurst, 69, of Concord, AR, died on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. Robert was born on February 22, 1957, in Batesville, AR, to the late Donald Ray Wurst and Mary Etta (House) Middleton. Robert was of the Christian faith and worshiped in attendance at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Concord, AR.

Robert was a mechanic by trade. He enjoyed working on cars and was an excellent “shade tree mechanic”. He also enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. More than anything, he loved being around children, bringing joy and laughter to their lives, especially his nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by both of his parents; his 3 brothers, Walter Ray Wurst, Van Wurst, and Kenneth Wurst. He is survived by his brother, Donald Rex Wurst (Elaine); his sisters, Julia Ann Middleton and Brenda Turner (Wayne); his niece, Melissa Acklin; his nephew, Jeffrey Turner; his great-nephews, Jason Michael Acklin, Dustin Acklin, Dakota Acklin, and Mackie Acklin; and several extended family members and friends.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. Mr Wurst’s funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1 PM, at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville, AR, with interment to follow at Concord Cemetery in Concord, AR.
