Robert Gerald Vaughn, Jr., 50, of Batesville passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 in Batesville. He was born February 12, 1964 in Ypsilanti, MI to Robert Vaughn, Sr. and Barbra Simrak Vaughn. He graduated from Cave City High School in 1982. Robert was a salesman in the Batesville area for his entire career and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing softball, horse shoes, bowling, and cards. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving father and attended every one of his son's sporting or school events. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Survivors include his mother, Barbra Ford of Palmetto, FL; his son, Rob Vaughn of Batesville and two brothers, Joe Vaughn and David Vaughn both of Southside. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Vaughn, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Roseletta Shirley and Thomas Simrak and his paternal grandparents, Genie Robert Vaughn and Mary Vaughn. Services will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Bro. Tim Landers officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville. Pallbearers are Buddy Branscum, Terry Culp, Scott Milligan, Vinh Nguyen, Larry Willis, and Pat Malone. Honorary Pallbearers are Heath Vaughn, Jeremy Vaughn, Jonathan Dorris, and Chris Vaughn.
