Robert Lynn "Buster" Thomas, 61, of Evening Shade passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Evening Shade. He was born October 2, 1953 in Batesville to R.J. Thomas and Mildred Yancey Thomas. He worked in Maintenance Engineering at Flowers. Robert loved hunting, fishing and farming. Survivors include his wife Janet Isaac Thomas, Two sons; Robert G Thomas, of Ash Flat, Michael Thomas, of Evening Shade, one Daughter; Amanda Thomas of Evening Shade, one Stepdaughter; Katie Schwartz of Horseshoe Bend, one brother; Malcolm Thomas of Cherokee Village, two sisters; Sue Johnston of Evening Shade, Verlene Barber of Floral, three grandchildren and two step grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his infant son, Joseph Thomas. Services will be at 4:00 P.M., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church in Batesville with Leslie Roper officiating. Interment will be at the Bear Creek Cemetery in Evening Shade. Pallbearers are Cliff Hall, Ephriam May, Sam Swift, Bob Stroud, David Bell and Bruce Johnston. Visitation is 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2015.
