Robert Lee Sherrill, 53, of Batesville passed away Monday, December 9, 2019. Robert was born November 5, 1966 in Batesville, AR to Alfred Sherrill and Treva (Mead) Martin.  Robert served his country honorably in the United States Army and later in the National Guard. Robert loved to cook. He was a cook in the Army and worked in the restaurant business for a large majority of his life. He continued being of service to his community serving on the board of the Hutchison Mountain Community Center for several years. He was of the Christian faith and was a member of the Hutchison Mountain Church of Christ.

Robert is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Flora Long Sherrill and Elmer and Willie Mead, and his parents Alfred Sherrill and Treva Martin. He is survived by his dad, Doyle Martin, his son, Derek Lee Sherrill of Salem, AR, his brother Marty Martin (Janie), his two sisters, Marla Strother (Brad) and Mary Chastain (Jerry), and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service of Batesville, AR. There will be a visitation Friday, December 13, 2019 at Willis Funeral Service from 5-7 PM.
