Robert Benjamin Carson, 90, of Batesville, AR, died on November 7th, 2020. Robert was born on September 19th, 1930, in Charleston, WV. He was a Navy Veteran. He was a plumber by trade in California, as well as an active member of the Kern County Search and Rescue, Fire Department, and Sheriff Department. Being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and looking for old mines and cabins in the mountains of California.
He was a lifetime member of the NRA.
He was preceded in death by his two-year-old son, Mark Casey Carson, in 1959; his father, Lester Parker Carson, in 1960: his mother, Ruth West Carson, in 1971; and his brother, Howard Lee Carson, in 1999.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Mark) Layton of Batesville, AR; his grandson Ryan (Ashley) Campbell of Aliquippa, PA, and grandson Tyler Campbell of Fort Eustis, VA.
After many years and many people praying for 'Ben', he gave his life to the Lord in his last week of life.
