Rita Jean Breaux-Laird, 82, of Violet Hill, Arkansas passed away on January 18, 2022. She was born on May 29, 1939 in Malvern, Arkansas to Carl C. Smith and Anna Jean Smith. Rita loved traveling and traveled all over the world. She even lived in four different countries. She also loved animals, especially dogs. Rita was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be missed by those who cherished her.

Rita is survived by her sons; Lance Laird and Larry Laird; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Lynn Laird.

Services are entrusted to Willis Funeral Service in Batesville, Arkansas.
