Richard Warren Meacham, 88, of Bull Shoals, formerly of Cave City, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Flippin. He was born August 8, 1926 in Alicia to Elmer A. Meacham and Bess Dawson Meacham. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a retired barber, drove a school bus for Cave City Schools and was of the Methodist faith. Richard enjoyed walking and riding his bike, which he did well into his 80's.
Survivors include one son, Richard A. Meacham of Chattanooga, TN; one daughter, Carol Brown of Bull Shoals; one sister, Shirley Gray of West Monroe, LA; three grandchildren, Lisa Phenice (Adam) of San Antonio, TX, Jerry Brown (Katie) of Highlands Ranch, CO and Jeremy Meacham of Miami, FL and two great grandchildren, Kelsey Phenice and Ethan Brown.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife of fifty eight years, Etta Belle Meacham and his sister Betty Williams.
Graveside service will be 12:30 P.M., Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Cave City Cemetery in Cave City with John High officiating.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Willis Funeral Service.
