Richard Lee Aldrich, 75, of Cord passed away April 25, 2016. He was born February 6, 1941 to Richard I. Aldrich and Dorothy (Smith) Aldrich. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching baseball and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing poker. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Dorothy Aldrich; a sister Dorothy Louise Aldrich, and a niece Amanda Jean Aldrich. He is survived by five brothers: Robert D. Aldrich, David W. Aldrich, Delbert L. Aldrich, Timothy A. Aldrich, and Dale L. Aldrich; four sister in laws: Patti, Wanda, Rhonda, and Candy; 3 nephews: Daniel, Randall, and Jacob Aldrich; 2 neices: Kimberly Pinn and Susie Schenk; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. Visitation will be Friday April 29th from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM both at the Cord Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Childers officiating. Interment will follow at the Hopewell Cemetery in Cord, Arkansas. Pallbearers include: Kenneth Deloach, Kenny Gipson, Keith Herring, Daniel Aldrich, Jacob Aldrich, and Randall Aldrich. Honorary Pallbearers include: Larry Gipson, Royce Bradley, Randy Bradley, Stanley Landers, John Aldrich, and Richard Aldrich.
