Rachel Estelle Butler, 82, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2026, in Batesville, AR. She was born on February 12, 1944, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Woodrow E. Roberts and Minnie (Foushee) Roberts. Estelle owned and operated Butler Pet Store for thirty years. She enjoyed gardening and canning her own produce. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all those blessed to know her.

Estelle is survived by her son, Bill Mauldin Jr.; daughter, Angela Burns (Eddie); grandchildren, Rebecca Varnell (Jamie), Conner Anderson (Karen), Lindsay Mauldin, and Hannah McCormick (Chase); and great-grandchildren, Kailin Siler, Haydon Siler, Kynzleigh Anderson, Mathew Anderson, RayLynn Anderson, and Riley McCormick. She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband and the father of her children, Billy Mauldin Sr.; husband, Jimmie Butler; and brother, David E. Roberts.
